The theme for English 7 is Identity in America. The question that guides our learning is: What can I learn about my own identity and identity in America by studying texts by American authors?
During first trimester, our focus is on memoir - reading, analyzing, and writing. During second trimester, we focus on short story and poetry. We end the year with an in-depth novel study.
