Hello, as this page implies, my name is Sarah Anderson. I teach Reading Strategies and Creative Writing here at Murray. This is my second, though not consecutive, year here at this amazing junior high school.
Like many of the talented staff here, I love working with kids in this age group. Rather than draining, I find them energizing and rejuvenating -- they help keep me young!
I am the proud parent of two exceptional girls: Pippa, a fifth grader, and Petra, a second grader. We have two dogs (Winnie & Tavish), one cat (Suki), and two hermit crabs (Malory & Bob).
In our free time we enjoy outdoors kinda' stuff. We camp, sail, snowboard, hike, and kayak, among other things. I am also a huge fan of reading and can be found curled up in the living room reading in any number of genres and topics and, thankfully, that's how you can find my daughters as well -- when they're not battling something on the Wii.
