Welcome to the Murray Science Department!
Murray Junior High School has a selection of lab based science courses. We offer a full year of both Life and Earth Science to meet state standards. Life Science is offered for seventh graders, and Earth Science is for eighth graders.
We also offer a "Magnet Science" option which is a two year program, for a total of six trimesters, where the students will complete the standards for the SPPS Challenge Science Pathways. These challenge pathways have been established by the SPPS Curriculum Team over the past several years. These pathways are based on the Minnesota Academic Standards for Science.
